Hey all I'm writing to you guys not from the tropics of Florida, but from a fire escape window booth, in a NYC apartment. Yup I'm again visiting my hometown for the month. Staying in one of my friends studio apartment which used to be the very one I used to live and grew up in. Lucky me ^^

The reason for taking so long to update my journal was if any of you have heard the weather news lately you've probably heard of the snow storm impact. That was nothing! On my yearly travel back to my hometown up in Brooklyn NYC. First we heard of bad weather so we voted against the air flight. So we drove...I like traveling by car you get to see soo much more.

This time though I HATED it. It was good going from Florida at first. Once we hit Virgina though DEATH CAME.

In our past travels Virgina was always a short state to bypass, and the Carolinas were the torture long. This time it was the least expected.

Literally we stayed in traffic on the 95 interstate a whole day. Up to the point that it was closed and we thanks to our GPS took another route. Even if it was longer, I was soooo glad to get out of Virgina. While there believe or not we saw the Spiderman and Xmen Trilogys while waiting in traffic plus Pirattes of the Carribean 3.

Oh and thats not the end of it. Why didn't we take a exit off the interstate beforehand you ask? Because every time someone took an exit, including us. Our cars would get stuck in the 20 inch snow. After that it was everyone from all sorts of cars to PUSH! Despite agnizing it was pretty funny and lighthearted at times. Orrrr... maybe it's because the young guys were a bit too gentleman to us young gals out in traffic lol


Anyways besides all that. I'm here visiting my hometown, with all my guy pals, and gals in the city I love so much I grew up in.

Besides that I needed this vacation. I've been kind of depressed lately (for the first time in my life) and needed so time away from it all. I'll clue you guys in later on about it. For now though I'm going to continue having a blast.

Ok I finished mainly most of the mangas I'm reading already, so I've already started coloring in some of my lineart. The problem is, I'm still getting used to digital coloring, rather then traditonal. Especially when it comes to shading.

It's amazing what knowing how to work things changes a picture. For one, some of my drawings look killer on my pad, but when I color them in, they don't look half what I expected. I figured out this is mostly due to coloring skills, and shading. Hmm... maybe I'm just being nit-picky, but hopefully I'll improve on my coloring skills with time.

I've already finished coloring 2 of the drawings, and still have some more to go, before I post them all. To top off, I keep on drawing new ones, due to my lack of updating with more pictures. This though is better news for you guys.

The worser news for you guys is I keep on going to the library more and more frequently. I always used to go, don't get me wrong, but now due to manga, and finally my library getting a certain hot saga that's around I've been going there more then usual. Sadly the saga is soo long I haven't even had time to finish even the first chapter. Due to drawing lol I hate it when I want to do loads at a time.

Curse me for having such a wide fandom variety.

Lol don't worry though, I'll definitly continue coloring, and updating fics, as much as I can.

I don't know if I told any of you yet, but finally I stopped renting, and found the home I've been looking for. Let me tell you it's been a long journey since then. It started out in New York when I was just 12. My family who had been living in Brookyln New York Urban City apartments (I was born in that neighborhood and was raised in apt) since they got married, and moved their from Puerto Rico our native contry. Finally got tired of renting and apt. life and wanted to get a home. I on the other hand despite loving the city life(I grew up in it), having my cousins, and pals all on the same block(it was fun going from one fire escape down to the next to visit another), going to the P.S. schools and corner stores getting Razzles and blow-pops lol GOOD TIMES ^^. Despite that though I myself wanted some peace, and serenity country life, tired of the city, and it's COLD.Plus I loved horses, and riding them, so I wanted to fufil my dream and have one of my own. So we started on the long house hunt, ZIP we found nothing good enough, besides that we then changed our minds to move down to Florida. So despite hard leaving all my childhood area behind. I was happy to move down to the tropics.(besides I always go back to NYC, and visit more then once a year).

Once moved down, we went into renting a apt, in the meantime we found a home. HERE COMES HELL! Florida is one tough place to find afforable country homes with good land. Now if you don't care of land then you'll find one easy. I lost count on how many banks wouldn't accept our loans. I HATE BANK LOAN IN THIS ECONEMY THEY'RE HORRIBLY STRICT DOWN HERE! So after 3 YES 3 years of trying we settled for looking by owner. Which was just as tough finding one. After 1 one year of searching FINALLY we got an answer. We found a nice country-cabin style home with 8 acres, and 3 bedrooms.

The kitchen is adorable, and is my baking dream. It has the cutest "Magic Chef" Oven (that reminds me somehow lol of my old play Easy Bake Oven ) You can bet I've been baking like crazy with it ^^ The kitchen also has a nice bar, and a booth as well.

So YAY finally we've settled and no more moving will be done for us. THANK GOODNESS! Unless of course if it's me in the future Even though now I'm in college, since our start when I was 12 lol LONG TIME HUH but still I'm happy.

Anyways We're still unpacking the loads of boxes, so sadly my drawings/fics have been delayed because of this. But I want to get unpacked quickly as you guys do so hopefully it won't be that long ^^


On another note it's SPRING my favorite season. My birthday passed already a while ago so it's a very late b-day reminder to you guys lol Besides that here comes my movie occasional rant: (lol even though most of you won't probably know what movie I'm talking about)



HOTEL FOR DOGS!!!!

Ok not only was this movie cute, but it had a whole other meaning to me. Back when I was a kid, obviously a animal lover back then too. I always imagined and would say, that if I had the money for it, I'd open up a animal shelter and rescue all the strays I could find. Lol As I got older, (unbewonst to Lois's Duncan novel) I thought of writing a book lol based on that childhood dream, Me being always the imaginative writer I am lol(although the book is more like how my story would've been then the movie was) When the movie buzz of this movie came out to public I was shocked. You can imagine what went through in my mind.

"OMG WHAT I'VE BEEN THINKING OF DOING IS ACTUALLY BEING DONE ALREADY!"

After that you can imagine how crazy I was to see that movie ^^ When I got to see it finally, I was shocked at how it was, nearly almost everything in it was being like my imagination being played on screen. My childhood fantasy was being shown. It was funny as when watching the movie, was like seeing my dream on screen. I imagine this is how pro-authors feel when their creation becomes a movie. But the funny part is, it was only a plan of mine and yet it became true through another person ^^ Anyways you guys all can probably tell that Hotel For Dogs both novel and film is one of my favorite movies now lol and defintly on my wishlist as well ^^ Lois Duncan is also now one of my favorite authors of regular books(not manga) And I've now written to her as well, she seems like a nice person, and kinda like me in atitude lol It would've been fun to grow up with her. I imagine we would've been good friends ^^ Anywas going out of dream mode here. It's kinda funny on how I'm talking about her now despite loving her other works years ago like my favorite slasher film "I know what you did last summer" Personally loved the book more then the film as always. Believe it that I didn't know she also wrote Hotel for Dogs(or that it existed) until now lol Anywas endind my rant of the novel. I've written to her, I doubt she'd respond me. Authors are always too busy for answering all fanmail, but if she does. I'll defintly tell you guys about it ^^

Twilgiht!!

Lets just say one thing about this....I'm so glad they kept it close to the book then B&C which was pratically butchered. Although Kristen could've played Bella more "Bella-ish" instead of acting more easy she should've been more shy-ish like Bella would be. But other then that I loved it, thanks to Meyer being there I bet. Can't wait for New Moon ^^





Love Takes Wing!!(Still haven't gotten to see "Love finds a Home!!)

The newest installment to the Love Comes Softly series.

Janette Oke is a wonderful romance author, and I love her series, but to be honest despite loving the films on how well they followed the books. I still am saying that my favorite ones have to be the first 2. After Love's Enduring Promise, it kinda got over-used and were repeating the same cycle over and over again especially with Belinda's story-line which the only difference is she being a doctor, and underappreciated. Haylie Duff did some good acting here though.

Still not sure if their going to make "A Prarie Legacy series" into films, but seriously despite loving the books, like I said it would just be repeating the same exact cycle of Belinda, and Missy all over again. Except with Virgina this time.





Still haven't seen X-men Origins with hottie Gambit(due to moving) I'm dieing too, even though I know it'll be different then the comics as the other films have been. But I still love them though ^^

Also want to see "17 again" as well though not as badly

And of course "The Princess and the Frog" defintly want to see that one ^^ It's history

As well as the usual Transformers-2, T4, and Toy Story 3(Yes It's coming out soon)


Anyways that's enough for now, I just wanted to update you guys as to why I've haven't been posting anything new lately. I'll try and unpack fast ^^ but my legs are killing me lol I can just imagine how Summer is going to be though with all these blockbusters coming out.

By the way the song I'm listening to is a perfect "Girls Night" song. Which is why it was chosen for the "Girls Night" commercial in movies such as the recent Jessica Simpson movie. I so love that song, and commercial now ^^

Hey all I'm back from vacation and yes the total amount of messages was 32 Yes it was a bit of a overload.

The trip to NYC was great. I had fun with my high school friends, and realitives. And of course I went to the downtown stores there and had Razzles lol ^^


Anyways enough of that this is 2009 now already Goodbye 2008 I will miss you and will always remember you as a important year(see previous entry)


Anyways enough of that I'll soon get my schedule routine back on track and get my fics updated with chappies. Also try and get some more artwork as well. I'm craving to do some, but I can't pick where to start lol

As for this new year I can't wait until Funimation releases Save Me Lolipop even though my paycheck still hasn't gotten around to buying their Peach Girl & Kodocha or even enough to buy the very wanted Birds of Prey boxset. DARN THEY'RE EXPENSIVE_______________________________ ___________

Hi all, I know it seems I haven't updated my journal in months, but not only did I not have my request list up but tons of things happened this year, besides me busy with my projects. Prepare to hear months load full of stuff.. Hehe

First even if it happened months ago but I'll say it anyways, I had my birthday lol and watched 27 Dressess that day as my treat lol

Next this is one of those special years. The kind that things happened that you'll remember for the rest of your life, BIG THINGS! Welp this is one of those years that I will truly remember. So lets just say this summer rocked and will forever be in my memory.

Anyways as I was saying, I also did something very special this year. It's kind of hard to explain to you all, but I'll just tell you that it's one of those things that you do, that is a big step forward, and huge accomplishment, not to mention is a big memory that will stay in your mind forever, and inside you feel pride and glory. Well it's something like that that I did this year. That I was looking forward to it for a lonngg time, and finally I did it. So feel proud for me lol.

AND NO!!! IT'S NOT THAT I GOT MARRIED, OR ANYTHING WITH ROMANCE OR PUBERTY LOL. I'M SINGLE SO NOWWHERE NEAR THOSE GOALS OF MARRIAGE OR FIRST KISS KINDA THING LOL

But it is something big and important to me. So thats another thing that happened.


Another thing is I had a blast this summer, Going to beaches, having bonfires eating snow cones, seeing great movies I was longiong for like Dark Knight. Like celebrating, but I bet your all thinking hmm.. big deal you could do that any summer. This is different though because..

I finally graduated !!!!!!! You know what that means then, besides clebrating like I said above. I'm now in the stage where I'm getting scholarships and preparing to take my courses in whichever UF I end up with for my dream job. So you all could probably imagine how that is after HS is finally over for you.


Besides that good news I also have something else to share. I've seen the new TLM 3 Movie and I took the little personailty quiz to see who I was most like. I turns out I'm most like Andrina.
Funny since I thought I be more like Aquata and I never thought I'd be a blond but Oh well she looks like a simple girl despite that and not the natural blonde. Which is alot like me so thats good

I also saw the new Barbie and The Diamond Catle. Mostly because finally they took prissy Miss Blonde Barbie off the spotlight and finally added Teresa into the picture and her sexy Latin self. By now you probably can tell though out all all the other Barbie movies I liked Mariposa because Barbie wasn't blue-eyed for once and was Spanish(making her not Barbie Thank Goodness). I also loved the twin characters in the movie. For once they didn't make them beautful sweet princes, like they always did with previous male-Ken princes in the previous movies. Instead they made them cute womanizing twins who reminded me a bit of Jack Sparrow. Lol The only let-down of the whole movie was the dogs, Ugh they were annoying the way they made them dance unrealistic, unlike all the other animal pets in previous ones.Anyways I also can't wait for the Princess and Frog movie since finally Disney and their little white princess prefences selves are put aside into a finally made African American princess. About TIME !!

Now I just hope the new Marvel XMEN Wolferine movie doesn't damage Gambit's character.

Anyways enough about my movie rant lol.

THE CUTE NEWS FOR ME IS !!! My chicken just hatched 3 baby chicks and they are adorable. One is obviously a female and she's like a mahoney red/brown. Another is like a tan/brown who I think is also female. Last is obviously a guy since he's pinto and very hyper and hotshot lol.


Thats about all the good news thats happened to me. Besides not counting that I have yet another admirer Ugh don't they ever stop and pursue another one of the trillion other girls WHY ME!!!! Lol

Now for some of the little bad news I got...

A stary dingo-like dog broke into my chicken coop(this happened before the chicks hatched) and ate 2 of my roosters and one chicken. Grr.... Good Thing the chicken that it was, wasn't the mother or the nice one, but she was the prettiest one though. Unfourantly one of the roosters (the other who died was the youngest and most hotshot lol was the pair to the chicken who died as well) who was the father of the unborn chicks seems to have sacrificed himself to save his chicken/wife lol and his unborn chicks. So sad since he was the most colorful beauty of the 3 roosters I had. Now I have just 2 chickens, the nice one and the mother. One rooster left who is the mate of the nice one. And the new chicks who never saw their daddy who risked himself.

But It was better that way, the poor chicks would have trama then lol But The good thing is the chicks surived.

As well my female dog(I have 2 dogs) got sick with flea allergy dermatitis, which worsened and actually a strip of her top skin, along with the fur on top of it, came off. Making her then get infection. Hopefully I took her to the vet and she prescribed meds and ointment. So hopefully she'll get better.


WELP THATS ALL that new with me. I'm sorry again for the lack of new drawings or updates of fics. But now that my schedule is back on track. I'm getting right on it. So expect to see plently of drawings from me of all sorts. Just don't expect them fast or right after another. Since things could come up now with possible college starting next year..or anything else that might come up.

Everyone living out of tropics I wish you a GOOD FALL SEASON AND AS FOR OTHER TROPICAL LIVERS LIKE ME BRING ON THE SUN !
